The rooms were clean and servicable although perhaps a little tired. The staff were helpful. Breakfast was decent. I thought it was good value for money and would stay there again
It wasn't a problem for me, but car access and parking isn't the easiest. The hotel is in two different buildings which was a little strange. The buildings were both 2 stories and I don't think there was a lift, which might be an issue for some people.
The location is very good, just off the main square. You can walk to all the sights. We had a small balcony with chairs. Check-In was fine.
The bedroom is rather small, there is just enough room to walk around the bed. You feel every move on the mattress. Breakfast was rather poor with artifical tasting juices and jam. You could hand-press fresh orange juice if you fancied getting sticky hands. The coffee was cold and of poor quality. Hot food didn't get replenished, tables didn't get cleared quickly. When I asked the waiter to clear a table for 2 he told us to share one with another couple. Reception was unattended when we wanted to check out. No one reacted to calls, there was no bell. We had to ask the waiter for help.
Excellent value for money (58 euros per night). Location is perfect to discover the city (central + some nice restaurants nearby). For 58 euros room was really nice and had a terrace. Reception staff was very efficient in answering questions (night and day shifts)
Was only a bit disappointed to find out after check out when I unfolded it that one of my laundry items had been returned with a set of stains it didn't previously have. I'm sure it was honnest mistake but would have felt more confortable being told.
The hotel was very clean and modern and up to date. The front desk staff all spoke fluent English and were very helpful. The breakfast buffet had a big selection and included freshly cooked scrambled eggs and bacon. The location is pretty good inside the walled city.
The room was somewhat small but considering the hotel's age and location inside the walled city, it was not a problem. The room was modern and comfy and was up to American standards.
Good central location for all atttractions
Rooms a bit small, windows with patterned glass you could not see out of although suspect there was not much of a view to look at considering the hotel's location on the back streets
- Great breakfast - location
- No parking available - the hotel has few parking places to offer, so most probably you'll have to leave your car anywhere (far) you'll find a place.
